Shipping Policy
At Mara Bliss Candles, we want your order to reach you safely and on time. Below you'll find information about our delivery times, shipping costs, and our responsibilities under Swedish consumer law and EU legislation.
Processing Time
- All orders are handmade and prepared with care.
- Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be processed before it is shipped.
- During holidays and promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you of any delays.
Shipping Within Sweden
- Standard shipping: 79 SEK
- Free shipping on orders over 500 SEK
- Delivery time after dispatch: typically 1–3 business days
Shipping Within the EU
- Standard shipping: €15
- All orders within the EU include applicable VAT.
- No additional customs duties or import fees apply to deliveries within the EU.
- Delivery time after dispatch: typically 3–7 business days depending on destination.
Carriers
- We ship with PostNord within Sweden and DHL for orders within the EU.
- Tracking information will be sent by email once your order has been dispatched.
- Please note that stated delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Responsibility During Transit
In accordance with Swedish Consumer Purchases Act (Konsumentköplagen) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, we bear the risk for the goods until they have been received by you (or by a person designated by you to accept the package).
This means:
- If your package is lost in transit, we are responsible for either sending a replacement or issuing a full refund.
- If your package arrives damaged, we are responsible for replacing or refunding the item (see our Returns Policy for instructions).
- We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue, but as a customer you should not have to bear any losses caused during transit.
Delivery Problems
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery time:
- First, check the tracking information in the confirmation email we sent you.
- Contact us at info@marablisscandles.com with your order number.
- We will open an investigation with the carrier and keep you updated.
If the package is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund, as described above.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged:
- If possible, document the damage with photos before unpacking.
- Contact us within a reasonable time at info@marablisscandles.com with your order number and photos.
- We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Incorrect Delivery Address
- Please make sure your delivery address is correct at checkout.
- If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at info@marablisscandles.com — we will do our best to correct the address before the package is shipped.
- If the package has already been shipped to an incorrect address you provided, we unfortunately cannot take responsibility for return shipping or redelivery, but we will gladly help you find a solution.
